Volunteers Needed for Mango Night Market with Alliance for the Arts

Alliance for the Arts needs FGCU students for general floating and wine pouring assistance from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Wednesday, June 12th, during Mango Night Market.  This market is all about celebrating local artisans, vendors, small businesses and this time-MANGOS!

Founded in 1975, the Alliance for the Arts has long stood as a beacon of cultural enrichment in the heart of Fort Myers, Florida. Nestled in the vibrant tapestry of this historic city, this organization has been a pivotal force in shaping the artistic land-scape of the region.

To sign up for this event, fill out Alliance for the Arts' volunteer application. After submitting the application, you will receive a volunteer liability form to fill out and return to the Membership & Community Outreach Organizer. Once both forms are submitted, you will be sent a signup link for this event.

Please note that new volunteers to the Alliance for the Arts are required to attend one training session before signing up for a volunteering shift for the Alliance. Returning Alliance volunteers are also welcome to join as general refreshers before volunteering shifts. For this opportunity, sign up to attend a training session here. Students may receive service-learning hours for training ONLY if they follow through with additional service outside of training in excess of their time spent training.

Students who complete this event gain skills in Critical Thinking/Problem Solving, Teamwork/Collaboration, and Professionalism/Work Ethic.
