Description

Haven on Earth Animal League needs FGCU students to help with socializing kittens, social media marketing, website design, adoption fair planning, pet education, trap, neuter, and return program, and more! These are ongoing opportunities that may be flexible to your schedule.

HEAL is a 501c3 no-kill rescue organization dedicated to providing tender care and permanent placement into loving homes for cats and dogs at risk of danger due to abuse, neglect, and abandonment. They adopt out over 700 cats per year.

Sign up as a volunteer on their website here.

Or... sign up in person at the Service-Learning Fair in the Cohen Student Union Ballroom on 9/11!!  Find HEAL's table and sign up with your name, email, and phone number.

Students who complete this event gain skills in Critical Thinking/Problem Solving, Teamwork/Collaboration, and Digital Technology.

This aligns with the following Sustainable Development Goals: Good Health and Well-being (3), Decent Work and Economic Growth (8), Sustainable Cities and Communities (11), and Life on Land (15)
