Join the national tradition and take part in FGCU's 13th annual Make A Difference Day on Saturday, October 26, between 8:00am - 1:00pm!
There's no better way to make friends and get connected to FGCU and the SWFL community than by spending a morning together serving others.

TIMELINE OF THE DAY

8:00am:  Check-in at the FGCU Student Plaza Bus Loop

8:20am: Kickoff

8:30am:  Depart on buses

8:45am:  Serve at sites across the SWFL Community

12:15pm: Wrap-Up and Depart

12:30pm-1:00pm:  Arrive back to the FGCU Student Plaza Bus Loop and have lunch together while reflecting on your day!

MANDATORY PRE-EVENT CHECK-IN: All participants must check-in prior to the morning of the event to confirm their spot. Pre-event check-in will be open October 21-23, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM in McTarnaghan Hall 229
IMPORTANT: Anyone under 18 MUST bring a signed copy of your waiver with you to the pre-event check-in in MCT 229.

GROUPS: If you have friends (or a group) that you would like to serve with, you must each RSVP individually in Eagle Link then all pre-check-in as a group together at the same time between Oct 21-23 in MCT 229 to have the best chance of serving at the same site.  Total group participation numbers are limited to site capacities and site availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

TRANSPORTATION: Transportation will be provided for most service sites. We will meet in the FGCU Student Plaza/Bus Loop promptly at 8am. Buses depart at 8:30am.

Important: Once you RSVP, your community agency is fully counting on you to be there that morning, so please be 100% sure you can attend before committing.

ATTIRE AND WHAT TO BRING: Please wear either an FGCU shirt or blue and green to represent the university out in the community! Be sure to dress comfortably, wear closed-toe shoes and sunscreen. Don't forget to bring water!
