Provost’s Seminar Series will be hosting Andrew Rosenberg Ph.D., Assistant Professor of International Relations and Political Methodology at University of Florida (UF). Dr. Rosenberg will discuss "The Global South in the 21st Century: Politics, Perils, & Promises," on Thursday, March 13, 2025, 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m., in The Water School (AB9), Room 106.
More about Dr. Rosenberg: Andrew Rosenberg is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Florida. His research combines quantitative, “big data,” and historical techniques to study structural racism in international politics, global inequality and dependency, migration and forced displacement, and international order. His first book, Undesirable Immigrants: Why Racism Persists in International Migration, was published by Princeton University Press in the International History and Politics series in 2022. He has published related articles in the American Journal of Political Science, International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Peace Research, Review of International Studies, Security Dialogue, and other outlets. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from The Ohio State University and is originally from Des Moines, Iowa.
