Volunteers Needed for Panther Reading Program at Franklin Park Elementary with United Way

United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades is in need of FGCU students to volunteer with Panther Reading. The goal of Panther Reading is to enhance and enrich learning for students. Not only to boost reading levels but also by consistently working with volunteers. This will foster a positive relationship that will aid in behavior modification. Volunteers would allow the students to read books to them and assist them when needed every

 

This event will begin on Wednesday, September 18th and reoccur every Wednesday until May 14th, 2025.

Shifts are from:

9:45 AM - 10:15 AM

10:45 AM - 11:15 AM

11:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Students who complete this event gain skills in Oral/Written Communications, Teamwork/Collaboration, and Professionalism/Work Ethic.
