About
Currently within the AWRA club, we are working on reading water gauges from various ponds located on our campus and creating a long-term data base that will be utilized and updated for many years to come. We are observing the flow of water within the area, the level of water and how it fluctuates throughout the year, and making sure that we take the required steps to have the correct information to keep the project going. Ultimately, we will be installing more gauges within our campus which will allow for the expansion of our research and observations. Other activities that the club plans on conducting include guest speakers, field trips, and more. For the AWRA club, we are hoping to find data that could be used by many in the future as well as become a place where students can go to gain on- hands experience within the field. We also enjoy going kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and on wet walks!
