Computer Science & Software Engineering Club
About
The Computer Science & Software Engineering Club (CSSEC) is an inclusive, vibrant student organization that is open to all majors—whether you’re a coding newbie or a tech enthusiast, you’ll feel right at home here. We’re passionate about building a supportive community around technology, innovation, and career development. Plus, there’s dinner at every meeting!
Each year, we host EagleHacks, an annual hackathon sponsored by local companies, where students team up to tackle real-world challenges, win exciting prizes, and network with industry professionals.
Our regular meetings cover a variety of topics and events, including:
- Career Development Sessions: Polish your professional presence with résumé and LinkedIn reviews, career panels, and networking opportunities with guest speakers, alumni, and industry professionals.
- Coding Workshops: Learn new programming languages, enhance your coding skills, and explore tech tools in hands-on workshops that cater to all skill levels.
- Social Events: Connect with fellow members in a laid-back environment at our Game Nights or other fun events, where you can win prizes and enjoy free food.
Whether you’re here to grow your technical skills, build your professional network, or just have fun with like-minded people, CSSEC has something for you! Join us at our next meeting—grab a bite, expand your tech knowledge, and get involved in our ever-growing community!
