Improv Club
About
FGCU Improv Club is a social club based around improvisational theater and comedy games, as well as live performances. The club is open to anyone of any skill or experience level, and participation is entirely voluntary! Meetings consist of a series of officer-run games, either based on basic acting warm-ups, short-form or long-form scene building and guessing games. We generally run by a series of rules to keep everyone comfortable as well as educating about the ins and outs of improv. We run special meetings sometimes too, such as themed nights and late-night improv (LNI) where we let loose on our rules a little bit. FGCU Improv Club also hosts events such as Improvaganza, which is our end-of-the-year showcase where we perform in front of a live audience. We also take trips to various different campuses and venues to perform/compete.
